MUBS’ Caroline Namyenya Emerges Overral Best Student in 68th Makerere Graduation Ceremony

Namyenya Caroline was the girl in the headlines among the 4,000 MUBS students that graduated yesterday, Thursday 18th 2018 at the Makerere University freedom square

Namyenya scored 4.95 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) making her the best student Humanities and overral best student at the 68th Graduation Ceremony.

She was a student of Bachelor Of Commerce at the Nakawa based Makerere University Business School (MUBS) and went home with a plaque and a prize of Uganda shillings 1, 000, 000/= (one million shillings only) which she received from Tanga Odoi on behalf of Vice Chancellor, Professor Nawangwe.

Tanga Odoi also revealed that Namyenya already has a job at MUBS like it has been in the past. She will serve as an assistant lecturer in the next academic year.

MUBS also recorded the highest number of first class degrees with over 238 students getting over 4.40 CGPA while Makerere main campus presented only 139 students.
