MUBS EC Releases Guild Election Roadmap

Yesterday 17th March 2020, the Electoral Commission (EC) of Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Nakawa released the 2020 electoral roadmap and their work plan.  

According to the EC, the purpose of this roadmap is to guide and inform all students, aspirants and candidates on the important dates selected and what should be done.

 Samuel Ssendi the EC Public Relations Officer (PRO) said that the Commission has harmonized a feasible and convenient work plan for the guild elections due to take place in April as it is stated in the guild constitution.

“According to the EC rules and regulations 2006, section C Article 5, the timetables put in place by the EC must be honored and adhered to by all candidates of all categories unless otherwise hence all aspiring candidates should acquaint themselves with the dates to avoid unnecessary inconveniences as we impartially organize free, fair and transparent 2020 elections’’ Ssendi communicated to the students.

This year’s MUBS EC consists of 15 members where six are on the executive while the remaining ones are commissioners as they as shown below.
