Samuel Grace Byakika, a student at Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Nakawa has been missing for close to a week now.
The third year student disappeared on Friday last week. He offers a Bachelors of Science in Finance and has been in his final year and final semester at University.
“The last place where we knew he were was at the MUBS Guild President campaigns, he left for home but didn’t reach and upto now we haven’t heard from him. His phone is off and no one has come up with any clear information yet about his disappearance,” Sheila Namisi a close friend to Samuel elaborated to Campus Bee.
Talking to the father, he said that he last heard from his son on Friday night at around 8:16pm when he called to hear from them.
“Samuel called me and told me he was in the library reading but all he wanted was to greet me and his mother too who was not around but I sent her greetings too when she came back. The following morning I received a call from Rebecca Kiwanuka, the aunt to my son who shelters him in her home that Samuel didn’t come back that night. We tried questioning the university administration about the issue but all they said was for us to come back the following Monday as it was a weekend and students were not around.”
He even went ahead to relate this issue with the arrest of General Tumukunde as both incidents happened in the same period of time.
Upto now there are no updates yet concerning Samuel and if you know anything about his disappearance you can contact the family on 07726151534 or 0752615154 (Father).
