Just like the saying goes, a man’s greatness does not need a billion years to discover, it is a daily revelation and unlike Rome which can be built in one day, leaders are born leaders! They are barely made.
Niwagaba Walter Kakuru, a second year Business Statistics student at Makerere University Business School (MUBS) seeking the top guild seat was not short of such leadership traits on Good Friday.
Niwagaba exercised his biggest asset in the name of exemplary character being at the forefront as he carried the cross in the routine practice of carrying the cross in the Catholic Church.
As a catholic, engaging in such a practic symbolises carrying a huge responsibility and could carry a cryptic message to all his voters that he wS going to walk all the way, leading and carrying their burdens to the concerned authorities.
The cross trek took through Nakawa to the St. James Chapel at MUBS as he and other revealers braved the heat to celebrate and intrinsically applaud Jesus’ feat.
He recently turned 22 years of age and will be vying for Nakawa based guild presidential seat on April 19th, 2017.
