It will be recalled that on 24th January 2022 MUBS’ Principal, Prof. Balunywa, wrote an email addressed to all students in light of concerns of missing marks and the attendant violence at MUBS.
Prof Balunywa had noted that there was a committee looking into the matter of missing marks and that that committee had discovered among others, that the missing marks were a result of the mode of examination and the online system that was in use.
The Principal resultantly directed that no exams would be conducted until the MUBS student leadership had given him a response of satisfaction.
It is against that background that the MUBS Guild President H.E Robinson Ogwang, has written in response to Prof. Balunywa. H.E Ogwang has intimated to Prof Balunywa that if the students’ results are released as earlier promised, they are ready to proceed with their final exams.
Ogwang has however requested for an extension from Thursday 27th January as earlier scheduled, to a later date which is Saturday 29th January 2022. This extension is intended to give students time to reconfigure themselves psychologically for the exams and to clear any residual tuition dues.
Ogwang has also requested that the time table remains as is, and only the commencement date be changed.
