Makerere University Business School (MUBS) has shared the heartbreaking news of the passing of Ms. Zahara Namufuta, a dedicated Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Management. Ms. Namufuta’s untimely demise occurred earlier today at Butabika Hospital, leaving the campus community in deep sorrow and mourning.
Ms. Namufuta was known among her colleagues and students for her unwavering dedication to her role as a Teaching Assistant, contributing significantly to the academic and personal growth of students within the Faculty of Management. Her passion for education and commitment to excellence made her a beloved figure within the MUBS community.
To honor and remember Ms. Zahara Namufuta, the school has organized prayers at the MUBS Mosque, scheduled to commence at 4:00 pm. This gathering will provide an opportunity for faculty members, students, and staff to come together in solidarity and offer prayers for the peaceful repose of Ms. Namufuta’s soul, as well as comfort and support for her grieving loved ones.
Following the prayers, arrangements have been made for the burial ceremony, which is set to take place tomorrow in Bugiri. This final farewell will allow those who knew and cherished Ms. Zahara Namufuta to pay their last respects and bid a fond farewell to a cherished member of the MUBS community.
