Makerere University Business School (MUBS) has released a statement in regards to the murder of Enid Twijukye.
Twijukye’s body was discovered rotting after she disappeared from her home in very unclear circumstances on January 4, 2016. It is said that she was working at Capital Shoppers in Nakawa, was supposed to graduate in February.
MUBS spokesperson Peter Odoki says: “The office of the Dean of students has Investigated the allegation and found out that the above named was admitted to MUBS in the AY 2015/16, Reg No. 15/U/19384/EVE to pursue a Bachelors Degree in International Business (BIB).”
Few days back, Police begun the hunt for her killer and was later netted. Dr. Bagenda was arrested after several phone tracks and detained at Jinja Police station.
She was given an admission letter and was required to register at the school to become a bonafide student but a source privy to the investigation says she had instead taken up a job at Capital Shoppers, Nakawa.
