The hospitality day hosted at Makerere University Business School on 20th April 2023 is an annual event organized by MUBs leisure and hospitality students particularly the finalists as an academic practical assessment (coursework) for the managing arts and entertainment course unit.
The 14th event of a kind was the climax of the MUBS language festival that started on 18th April 2023.
The event involves students working and competing in various portfolios such as showbiz, entertainment, ushering, sports with traditional games; omweso, arm wrestling among others, fashion which involved showcasing both modern and traditional cultural attires and performances traditional and modern dances.
Top performers from the entire festival and the hospitality event activities were given awards and other appreciation awards given to the events sponsors for their unwavering support.
All activities were conducted under close supervision of lecturers who award marks for the participation of the students and the event was summed up by performances from various artists including Pastor Wilson Bugembe and Anknown.
