“Today, Prof. Balunywa launched a ‘Get rid of plastic bottles and Polythene Bags’ campaign. The event was organized by the MUBS guild,” MUBS publicized.

Environmental degradation is rampant in urban areas especially the densely populated spots, MUBS being no exception.

The Principal’s move is aimed at mitigating the side effects of carelessly disposing rubbish, especially the non-biodegradable materials.

Other campaigns he has spearheaded have targeted drugs and sexual immorality amongst university students.

Kudos Prof. Balunywa!
