Makerere University Business School (MUBS) student and Miss World Africa, Quiin Abenakyo has today met Speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon Rebecca Kadaga.
Kadaga pledged support to Miss World Africa and Uganda Quiin Abenakyo in her programs to empower the girl child, saying “It’s my commitment to support Abenakyo in order for her plans to succeed as Miss Uganda and Miss Africa.”
Speaker Kadaga says that this is Uganda’s first time to get a high profile in the Miss World contests, and Abenakyo ought to make a mark in her work.
Abenakyo says that under her programs she will emphasize the fight on teenage pregnancies and keeping the girl child in school.
