Desire Namazzi, 20, is a Makerere University Business School (MUBS) 2nd year student who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and she has been undergoing chemotherapeutic treatment since April this year. However, the response to the treatment has not been as good as the doctors had anticipated forcing them to advise her to undergo a bone marrow transplant in India.
This website further understands that the transplant will cost between $50000-$70000.
