It’s now about one year since Ngabo Ngangi quit Nakawa based Makerere Business University (MUBS) after he deliberately hesitated to use tuition dimes to acquire a state of the art guitar.
You might be wondering whether this chap pushed on with school, No he didn’t.
He later on went back to his home country, Rwanda were he started up a studio under the name ‘Green Ferry Music’ which must have not been a disappointment to him.
Campus Bee clearly understands that Ngabo did not only stop at that but also revealed to his parents that he may never intend to resume school and his passion was all up for his music career. One could not have heard any of his songs trailing on air in Uganda but back there in Rwanda it’s himself making the hits and the money.
Talking to Ngabo, he reveals that he has earned so much within the shortest time possible than he had anticipated. When he was just starting, he was told stories of how music in Rwanda isn’t profitable- be he soldiered on.
Ngabo also adds that he could probably come back to Uganda and pursue a computer science course since he finds Music production giving a lot of time allowance to do some other errands.
Nganbo is a multi-instrumentalist who does a lot of guitar and doubles as a pianist.
This soft spoken chap is also the brain behind numerous campaign songs for their president elect H.E Paul Kagame.
