Enid Twijukye, a former student of Makerere University Business School (MUBS), was discovered dead and her body rotting after she disappeared from her home in very unclear circumstances on January 4th, 2016.
The late, who unconfirmed sources, suggest was working at Capital Shoppers in Nakawa, was supposed to graduate in February.
Born western Uganda’s district of Kiruhura, Enid disappeared after having lunch with her family that day in Bweyogerere and was never seen home again.
“Just the other day, she was found rotten in a shrub in Namanve. We are not sure about the circumstances in which she died but investigations are still going on,” said an old girl from her high school who preferred to remain anonymous.
It is not clear whether she disappeared from home by herself or if she were kidnapped and killed since investigations are still ongoing to come up with a comprehensive report about the circumstances in which the young lady lost her precious life.
We could not get a statement from her alleged place of work, Capital Shoppers, Nakawa.
Enid attended Bweranyangi Girls’ Secondary School between 2007 and 2010 and was greatly eulogised by especially old students from the Bushenyi district based institution.
At the time of publication of this article, the deceased’s body had been taken to Mulago National Referral Hospital for treatments and post mortem. May her soul rest in peace.
