He was happy for having completed his year two exams. Ready to report back in August for his final year. Little did he know that he would meet his death to an electric shock while at home. On a fateful Sunday evening, Ismail Mugunga, a second year business computing student was electrocuted to death, due to what many have cited as poor wiring by UMEME.
His classmates describe him as a down-to-earth, calm people person. “He loved to laugh with his colleagues and always made friends wherever he went to,” Julie, a friend to the deceased says.
Burial will take place on Monday afternoon at his Bunamwaya Ancestral grounds. May the God Lord comfort his family and may he rest in eternal peace.
