A second year MUBS student only identified as Faith survived being raped in the wee hours of Monday morning as she prepared to go for her lectures. The MUBS student narrowly survived being raped by a fellow resident of Bahesi hostel after she had returned to her room from having an early morning shower according to sources who say was a long time secret admirer.
‘As she was showering at about 5am in the morning, a fellow resident of Bahesi who’s yet to be identified sneaked into her room and hid there. After she was done showering, on entering her room, this horny dude showed up and started to forcefully caress- trying to force her into sex. That is the moment wild screams rocked the hostel’s G-floor where the girl resides. People then rushed out of their rooms to see what was happening only to find Faith nearly ripped naked by the stranger.

Lucky for her, her fellow residents were able to come to her rescue before anything happended. The girl now lies in extreme fear and is contemplating on leaving the hostel
This not the first time such an incident happens around MUBS hostels. Just at the begining of this semester, a girl was raped at Vision House hostel as she was from taking a bath but never got the chance to rescue herself from the demise and this was kept a secret by her friends.
Last week, a 58-year-old lecturer at Makerere University allegedly raped a first year student.
