With a few days remaining to the official opening of the semester, tragedy has surely hit once again and unexpectedly, death has robbed Makerere University Business School of yet another fine young lady.
The second year Bachelor of Accounting & Finance class has lost a coursemate, Atim Christine. She breathed her last after battling a long-term illness. Atim was pronounced dead last night by doctors and the cause of her death is not yet known.
“I have been informed that our very own has passed on after she’s been battling quite a number of illnesses. She died at the hospital last night and we are yet to get more information on what could have happened and the burial arrangements to give our sister a farewell are underway,” said MUBS Guild President, Don Patrick Bugingo who was in Fort Portal for the UNSA elections on being contacted.
Burial arrangements will be communicated soon, meanwhile friends and family are called upon to be strong in these times of demise.
