While many long to excitedly share their Uber experience, one MUBS student will forever live to have horror memories of using the cab service after a gruesome experience. Josephyn Flore was shocked when she was robbed clean by an Uber driver and almost lost her life.
Flore alleges she was attacked by an Uber driver while she was being dropped to her destination.
According to Flore, the unidentified Uber driver threw her out of the car in the middle of scuffle- and made away with her valuables.
She later took to her Facebook to share her incident and experience with Uber.
Worse still, after being robbed clean, the Uber driver rated himself with five stars and gave himself credit for offering his ‘service’.
The new international transport service that launched in Uganda a few months ago has not yet issued an official statement on this matter but responded to a query on twitter.
