According to the vice chancellor’s communication that was released yesterday, all students from Makerere University Business School (MUBS) were to pick the graduation gowns starting from today at 2pm.
Many were, however, disappointed as what they thought could work out didn’t actually go the right way that they had thought.
Students were seen camping at the Nakawa based institution from midday only waiting to receive their gowns. Outside the serving outlet, they waited until no one could wait no more as there was no sign of any graduation gown to be availed to them at the moment.
Some waited for up to around 4 pm until they got exhausted and turned their way back home. Other students resorted to local made gowns yet others have no option yet as their only hope now is to attend in their casual wear.
Makerere University Business School (MUBS) students will be graduating this Thursday 16th January and we hope by the time of their event, they will have gotten their gowns.
