Today should be a fun-filled day for any MUBS student that has in the past suffered any robbery or any aggravated attack because of thugs around Nakawa. The tormentor-in-chief who has for the past times terrorized students along the railway line and around Nakawa and nearing areas has been arrested.
Commonly known as Kasozi, Ssendawula Denis real names has for the past moments terrorized many students by stealing their handbags, harassing many and has also been implicated In the deaths and rape that has occurred in the past years.
Talking to Campusbee in an exclusive interview today morning, Kyasiimire Collins the OC of MUBS police station noted that the culprit was a well-known thief that had given the police headache. ‘Getting him feels like a long battle and war has been fought. He and other gang members have been arrested and are detained at Jinja Road Police,’ noted the OC.
When paraded before our reporter, Kasozi shamelessly denied having had a hand in any of the misdeeds he’s accused of. He is held on accounts of suspected murder, robberies and many other cases. By press time, most of his file cases that are in Mutungo, a local suburb had not yet been brought to the police station.
He was arrested on Sunday near Capital Shoppers supermarket after a tip off from his friend through WhatsApping the police about his whereabouts. On his arrest, he told the police that he didn’t care even if they arrested him and disclosed that he’s HIV positive making his arrest a waste of time.
Tougher security measures have been set by the university and the police ahead of the incoming semester. “This gives MUBS a boost in security, knowing that they registered many cases last semester. Police has strengthened the security and students should not be afraid”, noted OC Kyasiimire.
