Following the increasing attacks on Makerere Business School female students doing evening programs, police has tasked the university to establish a thorough lighting system near the railway corridor.
Several students have been struggled to death and dumped on railway with three meeting their death this semester alone. The recent one being Beatrice Mudondo who was killed over the weekend.
Speaking top media today, the police spokesperson Fred Enanga said that this area is insecure especially to girls at night, thus despite tightening security, light is also needed.
He explained that they are now liaising with the university management to secure the area.
