The Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Electoral Commission has officially released the roadmap for the upcoming 2025/2026 student guild elections.
In a communiqué, Chairperson Howard Bizimana outlined the comprehensive schedule of electoral activities set to take place over the next two months.
The electoral process begins immediately with the swearing-in of the electoral commission, which took place yesterday.
Aspiring candidates can, as of today, pick up nomination forms for various positions including Guild President, Class Representatives (GRCs), Off-campus representatives, Persons With Disabilities (PWD) representatives, and Sports Minister positions.
The nomination form collection period will run until next week, Wednesday, 5th March.
The nomination process for Guild aspirants will take place between 11th and 12th March, with the Guild Presidential Debate scheduled for Friday, 14th March, 2025.
Guild Presidential Elections will be held on Tuesday, March 25th while Off-campus GRC elections will follow on Friday, March 28th.
