MUK Graduate Goes Preaching on Streets Dressed in Graduation Gown ‘to prove a point’

A fresh graduate of Makerere University took to the streets of Kampala clad in her graduation gown to proclaim the Gospel as she tried to make a point clear.

In a photo she shared, the lady identified by Sandie Ampiromugisha on X, is seen delivering impassioned sermons and engaging with passersby about matters of faith. Regardless of the locality having heavy traffic, she seized the opportunity to share the message of salvation and hope.

“I am not ashamed of the gospel…mbu (they say) when you preach you fail, ani akulimba (who lied to you)?” Sandie, who is affliated to Phaneroo Ministries, said while expressing her point about excelling academically regardless of investing abundant time into evangelism.

A one Dennis Ssemakula, a critic to her post replied: “Actually it is not so much about the noise one makes on the streets, it is so much about how you treat your neighbor. Otherwise even atheists pass.”
