A recent Makerere University (MUK) graduate, Abakwatse Sharon (alias Shan Jobra), who had been admitted to a hospital for treatment following a diagnosis of lung complications, was confronted with profound grief upon returning to the hospital, only to discover that her fellow patients, with whom she shared struggles and hopes, have tragically passed away during her absence.
Abakwatse had been undergoing treatment at Lung Institute clinic (Mulago) after being diagnosed with lung complications. However, her already distressing situation took a tragic turn when she was greeted with sad news about her friends demise when she checked in at the hospital on Thursday.
The graduate gives thanks to God for having granted her a second chance to life due to the fact that she was the only patient from that particular hospital ward that made it out alive.
At the time when she was discharged, Abakwatse made a promise to return and pay a visit to the now deceased friends. The visit has materialized as a heartbreak for the young lady.
Life is indeed fragile!
