MUK, MUBS Students who were meant to graduate in January perish in an accident

Barbra Nakiwolo, a finalist at Makerere University Business School, was among the three young girls who perished in an accident over the weekend. The 22-year-old student who was meant to graduate in January was last year’s finalist in Miss Tourism Buganda.

MUBS’ guild president, Bugingo Don Patrick, sent his condolence message; 

We sit back in confusion and grief on hearing the news of our dear BARBRA NAKIWOLO, a student of ours, who passed on in a terrible accident with other colleagues.
We need to get down on our kness and say a special prayer for our institution,
We are losing too many souls in a glimpse.
A pretty soul gone too soon.RIP.

Nakiwolo perished together with NTV Uganda journalist, Resty Namawejje and Miss Tourism Northern Uganda, Norah Atim who was also meant to graduate in January from Makerere University with a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. Nakiwolo will be buried today in her ancestral home in Seeta at 2pm.

These students died in a fatal accident along Masaka Road and they were heading for a Miss Tourism 2015/2016 event in Mbarara.
