Benjamin Mwesigwa a procurement student at Makerere University is currently nursing wounds at Mulago referral hospital after a group of thugs on Tuesday pounced severely.
This incident occurred yesterday at around 7am while the student was heading to the university to catch up on his usual lessons.
“I was walking, slopping to Makerere somewhere in Kikoni, someone attacked me from behind and hit me hard and I fell down,” Benjamin narrates his ordeal.

He was joined by a group of other people who too hit me but I don’t remember them,” he added.
Benjamin confirms that the assailants robbed him of his phone and wallet that contained 70,000 Ugandan shillings at the time.
