Medical students of Mulago today morning experienced rather a shock sight when one of their own, Margaret Evelyn Nalwanga collapsed and died as she was taking her final examinations.
Patrick Onyango the Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson explained that, “Nalwanga who was pursuing B. Medical Records reported for her final examination today and during the exams she requested to go for a short call, the invigilator allowed her to go. When she reached the washrooms she collapsed and passed on.”
Margaret’s body was found by the exam supervisor Francis Lwanga who went to check on her after noticing that she had taken long without returning back to the examination room. He later reported the matter to the matter to Mulago Police.
When contacted for a comment on the death of his wife, the deceased’s husband Joseph Ssepuya informed Police that his wife has been having health problems such as high blood pressure and that lately, she had spent sleepless night reading for exams.
Margaret Evelyn Nalwanga’s body was later transferred to Mulago mortuary for postmortem.
