The recently appointed Chancellor of Ibanda University, Prof Venansius Baryamureeba has come out to reveal that he is fine with the newly amended age limit bill. While appearing on NBS Television Morning Breeze Show today, the former presidential candidate spoke out his mind regarding the age limit bill and what next.
“In my opinion, president Museveni is like a father of this country, we would have a referendum and decide that he becomes president until he gets tired instead of holding elections which he is obviously going to win. On the other hand, the opposition have to know that without numbers, they can’t do anything. They have to go back and strengthen the numbers” Baryamureeba boldly revealed.
However, Prof Baryamureeba went ahead to reveal that basing on Museveni’s age, he is not worried of his life presidency, “Who knows, the man may get a stoke, I would be very worried if he was 55 years” Baryamureeba added.
