Today 17th January, 2020, is the 4th session of 70th graduation ceremony of Makerere University where students from the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT), College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHUSS) and the School of Law are graduating.
The famous musician and the director of Golden Band, Ronald Mayinja has also graduated today with a bachelors degree of Arts in Social Sciences under the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
In 2016, Ronald Mayinja decided to go back to University in order to upgrade his education level, a move that saw many tip him off as a political hopeful.
Last week, Mayinja launched a Non government Organisation (NGO) which is known as “Peace for all, All for Peace” with an aim of promoting peace among his fellow Ugandans. It is alleged that in 2021, Mayinja will contest for Member of Parliament within his home district of Gomba.
