The Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) has announced an extended application deadline for its fully funded Master’s scholarship program for refugee women scientists in Uganda.
The application deadline has been moved to July 14th, 2025, providing additional time for eligible candidates to submit their applications.
This scholarship initiative is supported by UNESCO, the Organization for Women in Science in the Developing World (OWSD), and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
The fully funded scholarship covers all academic expenses and targets refugee women with scientific backgrounds who wish to pursue Master’s degrees at MUST.
This initiative addresses the critical need for educational opportunities among refugee populations while building scientific capacity within Uganda’s higher education system.
Interested applicants must submit an expression of interest letter, academic documents, proof of refugee status, and two recommendation letters to wisdomproject@must.ac.ug.
