Mbarara University is going to host the 2nd phase of Club Dome which is a Club Pilsner based party aimed at bringing the students close to their favourite artistes. The party is also aimed at selling club beer at a relatively cheaper price.
Club Pilsner had organized to give out invites to each and every student at campus and that’s where the guild president intervened and promised to give out the invites to the students in various faculties. The guild president, Muhumuza Umar, then gave out wrist bands (the invites) to the faculty of medicine students and some students of other faculties.
Over 3000 students up to now have not received their wrist bands and they have been telling our reporters that the guild president issued invites to some students to sell them and gain him money instead of giving them out on a free charge. The people selling these invites are selling them at a fee of Shs 5000.
When contacted, the guild president said that those are just allegations and that they’re works of his enemies who are just interested in tarnishing his good name. He said all students have been getting the tickets directly from his office at a free charge.
He challenged the students claiming to have been sold tickets to, to come out and declare to him the individuals that sold those tickets to them. “All students got their invites free of charge. Those in town campus and those at the Kakumiro campus altogether.” Muhumuza said.

The party is to feature artistes like daddy Andre, Feffe Bussi, Ray G and DJs like DJ Alberto, Slick Stuart and Roja. It is going to happen tomorrow.
