Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) fraternity was yesterday hit by very terrible news of the demise of their very own lecturer, Dr. Robert Atiku who died under mysterious circumstances.
Dr Atiku was a lecturer at the faculty of Medicine, MUST and a medical practitioner at Arua Regional Referral Hospital and Mbarara referral Hospital as well. His death was first announced on the Mbarara University official Facebook page.
“On a very sad note with profound shock and deep sympathy, we hereby announce the untimely death of our dear brother and colleague Dr. Robert Atiku. He passed on under mysterious circumstances” the post reads.
“RIP Dr. Atiku Robert. I remember you telling me to focus and handle life with care so that I succeed in my studies, we shall miss you” expressed one of his students, with sorrow.
The deceased hails from Arua District and his burial arrangements are underway.
