After being belittled by Alex Mukulu, one of the judges of Yolesa Ekitone talent show on BBS TV, a group of three young male dancers from Jinja have become the talk of the nation. In the trending video, Mukulu was recorded telling the boys that they are too smelly to dance for people, an act that left Ugandans disappointed in the renown play writer.
“The truth of the matter is that you guys smell. You smell a lot. You didn’t even give us a chance to concentrate on your dance moves because of the bad smell that was coming out you.” Mukulu, who happens to be the main judge on the Yolesa Ekitone show that airs on BBS TV blasted the boys.
The dancers, who travelled all the way from Jinja kept their cool and listened to Mukulu’s comments before getting off the stage. The boys have attracted public sympathy as Ugandans both from abroad and within vowed to support their talent.
Singer Bruno K has already gotten in touch with the dancers in a phone call, who further assured them that they are talented, adding that they should not let Mukulu’s words stop them from pushing for their dreams. Bruno K has promised to pay and feature the dancers in his upcoming music video in bid to see their talent take off.
The “Omuwala” singer further assured the boys that more artists are willing to give them both businesss and financial support after they were belittled on national TV.
“Ladies and gentlemen I have finally gotten in touch with the Boys of Yolesa Ekitone. Lets help these boys my fellow Ugandans bambi. We can do this together. Lets make their dreams come true See Less.” Bruno K revealed.
