Two fourth year students at Ndejje University have created a robot which imitates human movements such as waving, push-ups, dancing and walking.
Ronald Twinoburyo and Rogers Sendawula unveiled the robot yesterday at the university.
The duo are entering their work into this year’s East African Robot Contest taking place in Nairobi, Kenya, from May 10 -15.
The project team leader, Daniel Otim says the robot syncs with the country’s efforts towards achieving Vision 2040 which spells mechanization for virtually all sectors.
