The Academic Registrar’s Department at Ndejje University has issued a memo outlining crucial information regarding the final stages of the semester and the upcoming Easter break.
The University will close for the Easter break on Thursday, March 28th, 2023, at 4:00 pm, and will reopen for lectures on Tuesday, April 20th, 2024. Students are encouraged to utilize this break to clear their tuition obligations to avoid any inconvenience.
The memo begins by emphasizing the importance of consistent attendance at lectures and participation in assessment exercises throughout the semester.
It also notifies students that their identity cards are ready for collection at the ICT centers and respective Faculty Administrative Assistants’ offices. Effective April 5, 2024, students will be required to present their IDs at every service center.
Regarding assessments, the second coursework assessment is scheduled to take place from Wednesday, April 17th to Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024. Only students with coursework marks and proof of at least 75% lecture attendance will qualify to write semester examinations.
The semester examinations themselves are slated to commence on Monday, May 6th, and conclude on Friday, May 24th, 2024. It’s essential to note that students must have cleared at least 80% of fee obligations and possess valid student IDs to participate.
Furthermore, internship, industrial training, school practice, and field placements are set to commence on June 4th, 2024. Students under these categories are advised to finalize arrangements for this recess period.
This memo serves as a crucial guide for students as they prepare for the culmination of the semester and plan for the upcoming Easter break.
