Ndejje University has come out to clear its name and apologize to Makerere University Business School (MUBS) for erroneously using the photo of the Nakawa based institution in its admission booklet of 2018/19. In a letter dated may 5th, 2018 to the Principal MUBS, the university secretary termed it as a “technical error’ by the printers.
This came after Campus Bee ran a story about last week about the photo of MUBS main Library that featured in the admission booklet on page 23. The admission booklet which has already been distributed to a number of new student entrants to the university had bared the photo mistakenly although Ndejje itself has a big university library at both its Kampala and main campuses.
The University Secretary (Ndejje), Mr. Kiyingi Elijah also reaffirmed that there was no hidden agenda to that case and reiterated that such errors will not appear again in any university printout.
“We sincerely regret the embarrassment this might have caused to our sister institution and all its stakeholders. We wish to reiterate that this was an error,” read the University Secretary’s letter addressed to the MUBS principal.
However, the university did not state whether they did not do proof reading before issuing out the admission booklet to the freshers.
