Ndejje University is still in shock after one of their own Gerald Kedi passed on yesterday, following a protracted battle with ulcers.
Kedi was the current adviser to the vice guild president Vivian Musiimenta of Ndejje Kampala campus. He died at Malcolm Hospital in Kampala where he was receiving treatment for peptide ulcers.
The deceased was a third year student pursing Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA). Due to his deteriorating health, he even missed most of last semester’s work and did not seat for exams either.
The sad news of his demise was received with shock by the guild cabinet and entire students body. His death comes at a time when Ndejje is still in the mood of celebration of their 5th win of the East African University games.
His classmates and friends described him as a very passionate and kind leader who always listened to students was always humorous and cracked jokes to see the guild cabinet members smile during their meetings.
“We have been saddened by a brother, fun-making and conservative friend and leader. Ndejje will forever feel the depth of the wounds you left us with,” said Sixtus Mwaka, chief fresher and a close friend to the deceased.
Kedi was son to Mr Stephen Omagor. Burial will take place on Friday at their ancestral home in Kacumabala, Komuge.
May the soul of Gerald Kedi rest in eternal peace.
