Ndejje University today held its 26th Graduation Ceremony at the Main Campus in Luwero.
The grand event, drew hundreds of graduates, their families, and well-wishers from across Uganda.
Students from a range of disciplines like engineering, business, education, and more received diplomas, bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD degrees, marking the successful conclusion of their academic journeys.
The venue buzzed with joy as graduates, dressed in their caps and gowns, embraced their hard-earned achievements.
The Vice Chancellor, Rev. Canon Prof. Olivia Nassaka, highlighted the institution’s steady progress, confirming the graduation of 433 female students.
During the ceremony, top-performing students were recognized for excelling in academics, leadership, and sports.
Special awards were presented to those whose dedication and performance stood out during their time at Ndejje. The best overall student was honored with accolades, inspiring others to follow in their footsteps.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Monica Musenero Musanza, Minister for Science, Technology, and Innovation, delivered a motivating speech, urging the graduates to embody patience, resilience, and a calm approach as they navigate their professional journeys.
She emphasized that the theme for the event, “Bearing Fruits that Abide,” reflected the essence of their post-university lives. “Jobs are there,” she said, “but it is your presentation, hard work, and personality that will win them for you.”
