After being ranked Uganda’s best private University and second best after Makerere, Ndejje University has embarked on improving on available courses and as well introducing other new ones to their course brochure.
Ndejje recently made a pact with Bombo Military hospital to enable the university to introduce clinical medicine as a course in the next academic year. Under the conjunction between the university and the military hospital, the Luweero based campus seeks to enroll students pursuing clinical medicine and related courses in medicine at bachelor’s level once preliminary studies into the matter are done.
According to the dean of students Wilfred Kato Muhumuuza, the university is currently processing documents and sorting out issues at hand as well as engaging in preliminary studies in order to fully offer the course.
“If all goes well, Ndejje and Bombo military hospital will jointly conduct a medical course in August this year. We hope it kicks off in august, when we are ready we shall advertise,” he told our reporter.
Ndejje University currently has two campuses with the main campus in Luweero District while the Kampala campus seats along Bulintuma road in Mengo.
The university currently has over 30 courses in both arts and sciences with a large number doing engineering, education, mass communication, business, and arts among others.
