According to a statement released to media, the meeting took place at State House Entebbe.
“Ndejje University Management had an opportunity of visiting His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at State House in Entebbe where they presented key issues for support to grow the University,” the statement partly reads.
Among other key issues, the university requested for a sovereign guarantee for the Medical School, a grant to upgrade the sports facilities in preparation for the East Africa University Games as well as tarmacking the road from Bombo to Ndejje.
Ndejje university has commended President Museveni for the good gesture of lending an ear to the administration and hopes to reap more from the meeting.
“Great appreciation to His Excellency the President for having accepted to support Ndejje University achieve all the key issues,” the University acknowledged.
