The Academic Registrar of Ndejje University has officially informed the institution stakeholders about the new changes made in functional and hostel fees.
This follows the continuous engagement of students via online platforms as they are waiting for the lifting of the lockdown. In a statement that was released by the Academic Registrar’s office, the University has considered a reduction in functional fees and a waiver on hostel fees.
’’The functional fees have been reduced by 150000 (one hundred fifty thousand shillings) for Ugandan students and $60 for international students,’’ the memo read in part.
’’All residence fees have been scrapped and for students who paid. These fees will be converted to future tuition. The surcharge for late registration has been waived, nevertheless there will be a surcharge for late clearance for examinations,’’ it added.
Ndejje University has now joined other Private higher education institutions who have reduced on fees bills to suit the ongoing situation for its students. Other Universities include UCU, Victoria University.
