Ndejje University fraternity is still mourning the sudden demise of Phiona Nabadda who passed away on New years’ eve after battling kidney complications that later claimed her life.
Nabadda died on December 31st night after being admitted to hospital on Christmas Day. At the time of her death, she was pursuing a diploma in social sciences at the main campus in Luwero.
Nabadda was a committed student who associated well with friends even in hard times. Since the end of last semester, she not well of as the liver problem had already started caving in.
According to a medical report she previously had from Mulago Hospital, Nabadda’s liver was getting rotten and required agent treatment which she received but death still sadly claimed her life.
The dean of students, Wilfred Kato Muhumuza described her demise as sudden and a big blow to the faculty of social sciences.
“It is so saddening to lose such a young soul at the beginning of the year. We mourn and stand with the family and friends of the late”, He wrote in his condolence message.
Burial arrangements for the deceased are still ongoing and will be communicated later.
