Makerere University students will be given the first and second weeks of every semester to register. The students who may fail to raise the required 60% may go ahead to register but will be invoiced.
Makerere University Deputy Vice Chancellor, Barnabas Nawangwe made the communication, a day after students reported back for the second semester of the academic year 2014/2015.
The new policy requires students to register in the first 15 days and failure to do so shall result into payment for late registration fine of UGx50, 000.
