Nkumba University final year Bachelor of Business Administration final year student has taken her own life, Campus Bee has learnt.
Joyce Abiriya, a South Sudanese National was found hanging lifeless at her place of abode in Entebbe earlier this week.
Ms. Abiriya Joyce reportedly took her own life due to stress and depression. Her body shall be transported to Juba on Thursday, 11th March and burial shall proceed thereafter.
Nkumba university mourns
The Entebbe based private university took to its social media page to mourn the deceased. “It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our former student, Abiriya Joyce, a BBA finalist. The late Abiriya, a South Sudanese national, is said to have breathed her last on Sunday 7th March, 2021.
We are saddened by this loss and send our condolences to her family and friends.”
