Sad news coming in from our sources reveals that a 23-year-old finalist at Nkumba University has set himself ablaze over unclear reasons. The deceased has been identified as Ivan Ngobi, a resident of Mpala, Entebbe, Wakiso District.
Apparently, Ngobi was set to graduate at Nkumba University where he has been studying over the past three years. Ngobi’s neighbours have revealed that they heard him making loud hysterical noises at night but could not imagine such a tragedy. The deceased’s burnt body was discovered Sunday morning that was later taken to Mulago Hospital for a postmortem.
Before his death, Ngobi was apparently behaving in a strange way something that has sparked off different unfounded causes of his demise.
The OC Mpala Police Post, Joseph Sekitoleko revealed that may be Ngobi’s life would have saved had they [neighbours] acted immediately the heard the screams. To address the OC’s remarks, the deceased’s neighbours revealed that there has not been a close relationship with Ngobi.
The deceased was also a known city socialite who owned Vegas Events K’la Ug Boss/Blue Party events, organizer.
