Nkumba University has postponed the 2022 freshers’ ball that had been initially scheduled for Friday 25th March, 2022.
In a letter from the Dean of students, Mr. Christopher Kimuli, stated that lack of enough funds has made the postponement of the event inevitable.
Mr. Christopher says many students have not paid tuition therefore the institution lacks adequate finance to facilitate the freshers’ ball.
“I am writing to inform you that the freshers’ ball that was scheduled for tomorrow Friday 25th March, 2022 has been postponed to a later date. Many students haven’t paid tuition and for that matter the University hasn’t received payments to facilitate most of the students activities,” part of the letter reads.
Mr Christopher has implored Nkumba University students to pay tuition in order to foot the freshers’ ball bill. The new date remains unknown and will be communicated to students by the guild.
