Nkumba University Student Killed In His Rental, Was Stabbed Several Times

Nkumba University student, Godfrey Katebu was on Monday evening found dead in his rental in Nkumba. The third year human resource and management student was found lifeless by his landlord.

“My wife rung me telling me that one of my tenants had been killed in his room. We suspect his murderers killed him in the morning while it was raining because his neighbour says that he saw him in the morning brushing his teeth,” Hammis Sejjoba, the deceased’s landlord said.

Police Metropolitan Spokersperson Luke Owoyesigyire confirmed the incident saying that after police’s keen examination, Katebu’s body had several wounds. “His body seemed to have been stabbed several times with a knife.”

Nkumba University is yet to issue a statement on this sad incident. We shall keep you posted.
