All foreign students attending Further education Colleges are to be banned from working in Britain when their courses are wrapped up.
This immigration crackdown has been directed by The Home Secretary Theresa May where non-European students will have no right to work in the UK or even have their visas extended once they are done with their studies.
This crackdown followed the increased influx of students in the past one year where among the 121,000 students who joined, only 51,000 left literally meaning 70,000 students stayed and are currently working. This has made the Higher Education intakes in Britain look like a Back door to a British Work Visa.
The Universities providing education to foreign students have though warned Britain against this move quoting that it’s going to damage the education sector as well as rob the country of vital skills.
It should however be noted that it’s such an expensive process to join the British education system as well as to stay being a foreign student. It’s on this note that most people have been disguising themselves by investing in joining this education system then stay as workers when their courses are wrapped up. As for now, the length of the stay is to be cut to two years to prevent this illegal access to the UK Job Market.
