Muteesa I Royal University, at both Kakeeka and main campus in Kirumba- Masaka held guild elections Thursday.
NRM’s Kiwewa Joel Julius emerged winner of the Guild at the main campus in Kirumba Masaka.
“Kiwewa Joel Julius has been declared as a winner for the post of guild president 2022/2023- main campus” the university post reads.
On the same note, NUP’s Timothy Kato was declared guild President of Kakeeka branch- still in Masaka.
This was confirmed by the university on their official website, ” Kato Timothy has been declared as a winner for the post of campus president 2022/203- Kakeeka campus”
Kato came under the slogan ‘wezo wezo revolution’ which earned him popularity that contributed to his success.
The new guild elect of Kakeeka campus is pursuing a Bachelor of Mass communication whereas Kiwewa is studying a Bachelor of Social Work and Social Administration.
