Giant Broadcasting company NTV has officially come out to issue an statement on the Live television glitch in which a yet to be identified fan recorded himself masturbating during the Mix Show.
In a statement released Saturday, NTV management indicated that the matter has been forwarded to the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) for deep investigation to apprehend the wild fan responsible for the footage.
The TV station further indicated that it had suspended the director and producer of the mix show as investigation into the matter are underway.
“We have suspended the director and producer of the show and an inquiry into the matter is underway. All our studio technical staff, programme producers and presenters have also been cautioned to exercise better judgment and to always be mindful of such mischievous programme participants.” The statement issued by NTV, reads in part.
The incident happened yesterday during the highly viewed Mix Show in which the TV Station engages its viewers to share their live feed from the comfort of their homes. Viewers were thrown into a spellbind when an anonymous live phone footage of the crazy fan touching his genitals, aired in the fans’ feed timeline.
A section of the comments on the matter from the public assert that it could have been a hack into the fans feed timeline.
Hosted by Dagy Nyce alongside Etania, the NTV Live Mix Show Airs every Friday and came into much more attention during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. Thousands have since decided to camp to this dance show to date to knock away the lockdown boredom .
