However much the rise of fake descriptions about Kyambogo University in the recent months is undeniable, its impact now is a different story as many people have reacted with bitterness to the video that made rounds over the weekend of two girls dissing Kyambogo Univesity guys. A closer analysis shows that this was the most widely circulated video seen by a bigger fraction of Ugandans which called for responses from personalities including NTV’s Faridah Nakazibwe. While this has become common especially with girls today, Faridah noted that most girls blessed with beauty confuse it with the rare gift of wisdom urging that it is always easier to predict what happens to them after.
Explaining that a lot of beauty queens love guys with no plans and direction; where they even end up giving in their nunus for money, she urged that the equaliser of destinies called time has a way of catching up with them.
“This explains the disaster we see all the time of beauty queens having unfulfilling marriages or struggling with single life. When a decent guy honestly wants to make a wife out of such girls, they do not respond with courtesy and say Praise God ‘I found the perfect man.. No! To them, any man that approaches them and is not living a fast life is a fool to them so they end up demoted to the recycled section of the abandoned.” Faridah noted. A lot more reactions came in from people saying this video was shared to signal support from other Universities as some of the news consumers actually believed the content of the story.
